at

Buffs United Diversity and Inclusion Event,

University of Colorado Boulder 2017

About #BuffsUnited:

A celebration of the CU Boulder community in support of our shared vision for an inclusive, affirming campus. This is meant to be a positive event, where all members of the CU community can feel welcome and valued. Celebrate your community. Unite. Find your voice. Join in. #BuffsUnited

Through music, spoken word, theater, and art, dynamic performers and presenters will highlight important social issues and help audience members share their own voices.

The event is free and open to the public. No backpacks are allowed.

The first 100 CU student attendees - with a valid CU Student I.D. - of the #BuffsUnited event will also receive a free ticket to see the phenomenal, inspiring Laverne Cox speak in Macky at 7:30. For more info on that event, check out www.colorado.edu/today/2017/01/12/emmy-nominated-actress-laverne-cox-speak-jan-25-cu-boulder.

"Fifth Most Important Crop", in collaboration with dance artist Sophia Phillips, explored the commodification and capitalization of the female form in present-day society through a playful post-modern triangulation of gesture, feminism, potatoes, and The Wizard of Oz.
